On November 10, VIETJET QAZAQSTAN operated its inaugural direct international flight on the route Astana — Bishkek. The official ceremony was held at Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport, attended by Yousif Aljawder, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport,” Adilbek Umraliev, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “QAZAQ AIR,” operating under the trademark VIETJET QAZAQSTAN, representatives of partner organizations, and passengers of the inaugural flight
The launch of the direct service enhances air connectivity and supports the development of business, tourism, and cultural exchange between Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic. The new route provides residents and visitors of the Central Asian capitals with more convenient and time-efficient travel options.
“Opening the Astana — Bishkek route is an important step in strengthening ties between our countries. Direct flights make travel faster and more convenient, and they also support the growth of tourism, business cooperation, and cultural exchange,” - noted Adilbek Umraliev.
Passengers of the inaugural flight received commemorative gifts from partners, and a giveaway of travel vouchers was held during the event.
The Astana — Bishkek — Astana flights operate twice a week — on Mondays and Thursdays.
